Jo Tuck is an international artist who studied fine art in London and worked as a film editor before taking up painting full time in London and New York.
My paintings explore themes of fiction, narrative, storytelling, and the tension between what is true and what is real.,attempting to create in each picture a mood, a mental atmosphere, a sentiment. The paintings are not straightforwardly expressionistic nor illustrational but rather combine the natural with the unnatural to produce images both real and unreal- narratives of our times."
